Magnetic IG pics {tutorial}

Bil abalik rumah,macam mana penat pun memang terasa nak crafting kadang-kadang..dah lama tak buat sesuatu..

so here is what you need.

1. magnetic sheets (with adhesive side,easy to stick your pics,no glue no mess), i get mine from Daiso. RM5 a piece. It comes it various sizes. There is also magnetic tape,magnetic tag and also magnetic printer paper.. I'm having a hard time to choose. XD

2.An Instagram ac (follow me @Anasfadilah ... eh sempatt) ..but i download my Insta pic from my phone to my laptop via bluetooth,easier that way.

3.Inkjet printer and photo paper. I'm using Hp advanced photo paper,type glossy (well i think better used semi gloss or matte) but i make do on whatever i have in hand :) 

so how to do it,refer to pictures below...heeee

Remember the day i decided to print my IG pics? I already put it up!

hahahaha! Did the frame myself (toldya...). a hard type cardboard,purchased at nearby stationaries shop. RM4, quite big.

The frame is 5x5 inches.

Now,the project is finish.Whats next...hmmm

i was this closed to print my insta pics online via Picstgram,but being me the money pincher,or you can say frugal..

i print it myself.

how?

print guna Hp photo advance paper,saya guna type glossy. RM35 untuk 25 helai saiz A4.

satu A4 boleh muat 6 gambar as saya buat 3 inci kali 3 inci.

saya guna photoscape utk pegridan (as in grid),if u have picasa ke photoshop ke boleh gak.

sekarang saya tengah cari cara buat frame DIY atau pegi kedai cheap cheap tgk frame sesuai (dasar cheapskate tapi nak bergaya gak..hahahaha XD)

instagram resolution kecik,kalau print besar-besar kang grainy plak gambar.tapi suits you la k

endless possibilities i tell yuh!

p/s:gambar koko the succata turtle tu yang paling saya suka tengok,entah kenapa. Oh ye rasanya kalau matte or semi gloss lagi cantik gambar,tapi saya guna je apa yang ada.

Morrocan Jubah for Lil Z

Hari tu pergi kompleks bukit jambul,cari jubah la konon utk Ziyyad,been meaning to carikan dia jubah ala morroco,tapi takde yang berkenan.Most of em kadang-kadang poorly made..Harga dalam RM70 mcm tu. Tapi takde saiz Ziyyad,siap akak kedai tu kata "kenapa tak cari awal-awal...sekarang ni tinggal ni jelah" saya malas cakap bayank aku senyum,dan kata terima kasih. Dan terus pi kamdar kat tingkat atas.

Oleh kerana saya ada asa menjahit,dan tengok patern jubah ni macam tak susah (sila tekankan ayat "macam") . i decided to brave myself to venture menjahit baju. Never in  my sewing career (career katanya...) menjahit baju. Agak daunting juga sebeanryna,lagi-lagi part leher tu.Seram sejuk...brrrrr

Did some googling pasal macam mana nak buat lubang leher yg ok,so i found this ukuran leher , on how to take the neck measurement. antara link-link that help me a lot ialah (semoga Allah balas kenaikan korang yg sudi share ilmu,dengan 1001 lagi kebaikan..amenn)

1. baju kurung tutorial <----meh beli mei tai carrier di sini juga :)

2.cara buat leher v (v neck shirt) <--- byk ajar pasal mcm mana nak jahit baju. :)

i did learn,once..kat sabah cara jahit baju kurung..tapi dan takat ambil ukuran saja,as makcik tu nak pindah semenanjung dah...kalau tak skearang ni saya pakai baju kurung jahit sendiri je...XD

jadi saya ambil ukuran Ziyyad,budak ni kan budak reti duduk diam,ambil ukuran siap nak berjoget kenapa..sia cakap "ma,bila nak habis ni?ambil ukuran lama sangat ni"...~_~" . Did made a pattern on paper,as i am not as good as kak neeza yg boleh freestyle je..wuwuwu..terer ok. Saya tak,jadi potong pola la nampaknya,pasal tamau membazir kain.

ada satu baju jubah morroco dia masa dia a year older and jubah husband pun ada dari situ saya teliti pattern dia..Saya ada buat sikit detailing pada poket,leher dan lengan baju ni...macam jahit lurus-lurus sebaris tu,bagila nampak macam decorate sikit..kononla...heee

dalam 2 jam macam tu siap,dari awal potong pola,potong kain,gedebak gedebik..siap :) , Achievement unlocked!!

sangat happy with result,Alhamdulillah.Ziyyad pun suka, ambil gambar bukan main peace bagai..dah mcm muallaf pun ada dah nengok kan

raya ni tema kami warna biru, baju melayu En.Anas electric blue,saya pakai jubah warna biru BN,Ziyyad warna biru pertengahan antara saya dan babah dia..haa boleh.

Jubah Ziyyad ni warna dark blue,kain dia tak panas yang penting,pasal Ziyyad ni cepat berpeluh orangnya. masa saya cakap kat husband saya nak jahit sendiri jubah Ziyyad,dia kata "sayan gboleh ke jahit baji,nanti tak jadi macam mana?".. saya cakap padanya "InsyaAllahjadi,tengok pattern senang je" agak tercabar dgn kata-kata dia sebenarnya.hahahaha

tapi tulah,tanpa cabaran kita tak akan menolak diri sendiri untuk maju kehadapan...eh kau ni mcm suh join emelem je kekdahnya.. tapi betul,tak kira apa pun yg kita buat,always motivate diri sendiri untuk berjaya,walau terkadang lelah,letih hampir putus asa,bangunlah jangan mengalah.aaa gittew cik kiah. XD

p/s:can't wait to beraya in KL this year,will be in KL for a week InsyaAllah,thank you Allah for giving me a sensible husband :) . Dan tidak,saya tak ambil tempahan.heeeee~~~~

p/p/s:i see a lo of blue and green mint for tema raya tis year,ada kaler lain tak sesiapa?kang kata boria kampung melayu plak kang...hahahah XD

DIY: wedding corsage

this corsage will be used during my big brother wedding day. So how to make it?

Things you should have

1. im using a 2 in 1 brooch,bought it at kak Jaja. 
2. Ribbons. For the flower im using 1 inch (") wide ribbon,for the name im using 1/2" ribbon
3.My trusty old glue gun,maybe you can use UHU glue if u didnt have glue gun.
4.Scissor
5.Some Felt ( Daiso also selling Felt or maybe u can visit kak Jaja tamu )
6. Patience. XD


How To Roll The Flower

ok, on how to roll the flower im using Danielle method,easy to understand. However she used fabric (as u can see i used lots of fabric flower on my lanyard). we will be using the 1" Ribbon (the wider the ribbon the easier u manage and handle it)

After finish making the flower,put it aside

How To Make The Ribbon With Name


is the same method im using while making my own kedai chomel label,ONLY that im using ribbon this time. It is a bit trickier and u have to do a lot of trial and error. If the iron setting too low,the name wont stick on your ribbon,too high you burn it! (yeah...been there done that) . For those who is having problem making the label using twill tape,only used COTTON twill tape.Cotton will not burn easily.

make sure when you cut the name the height is the same with your ribbon like the picture below

the setting im using on my iron,after a few trial and error. Not too low not too high. 

as the iron on transfer paper we already cut it like 1/2" in height,be careful not to burn your fingers as well. Give it a good ironing back and forth,left and right for a few second,peel the transfer paper gently and slowly. And you will have a nice set of names like what i already did as the picture above.

How To Ensemble The Corsage

Tips: Im using felt because i used 2 flowers to make the corsage. If you used only 1 flower,no need to put felt as the backing,just glue the flower on the pin/brooch.

ok. I forget to take picture while ensembling. So, first..

Cut a rectangular out of ur felt, the width and height is up to you. Mine fit just nice to cover the back of the flower without showing the green felt up front.

put a generous amount of glue on the flower and paste it on the felt.

Put it aside.

Glue the ribbon with name first on the pin.Make sure is parallel when you pinned it on your cloth,to make sure it is not slanting.but if you want it to be slant,its up to you then :)

After that,glue the flower on the felt on top of it.

i bought 3 wooden letters,and still not mod podging it,bahhummbug @_@

seriyesly,masa hari jumaat there a tonnes of things nak buat,macam-macam nak buat dgn semangatnya,tiba weekend,terus semangat evaporate macam wap air...ya Allah hu rabbi,apa malas sgt tak tau.

somebody need to slap me real hard to get me going again.

                                   

the letters that i want to mod podge,bought these letters at RM2 each,cheapo.Mod podge tu RM30 for 236 ml. i think if u have pva glue also can,1 part glue 2 parts water,mcm dalam art attack duk selalu guna.boleh ko,rasanya.Beli kat craft haven di One Utama.Mod Podge tu beli di papier the curve.

ramai org tanya pasal twill tape di entry ini ,twill tape tu macam satu tali putih kadang-kadang pink pucat ada dijual di kedai stationary atau kedai jahit berhampiran. Murah je dalam RM2 macam tu,few metres jugak la.

Chomel Folover Clutch - Update

in between melayan kerenah Ziyyad semalam,i managed to sew these Chomels. But still tak sipa sebenarnya,rivet and button belum pasang.engah malam mengetuk sana-sana ada yang maki empunya diri ni..hahahaha XD

Masa di bahagikan sewajarnya,ada untuk jahit,ada untuk suami dan ada untuk Ziyyad

Kadang-kadang rasa nak marah Ziyyad every time i was busy sewing,dia datang mengendeng...tapi mana boleh marah dia,dia nak hak masa dia dengan saya...

Jadi dengan muka senyum aje melayan kerenah dia...saya pun pelik dengan diri sendiri semalam,i was happily sewing and layan kan Ziyyad (husbad was away ada hal)

hasil jahitan lebih kemas,kalau kita happy...itu yang sayadapat semalam. Kalau jahit memarah sana sini,mesti ada je jahitan silap dan kena buka dan jahit bali...annoying tau kena buka jahitan balik

sementara baru ada satu ni lah nak cherish the moments, nak nombor dua/adik ziyyad ntah kan bila,tahun depankah?lagi 2,3 tahun kah? siapa yang tahu?

i sew a bucket hat for Ziyyad,although it is a bit crooked (da*n u circle,it is hard to sew u)

lepas siap je petang semalam, kebetulan Ziyyad ngan main kat bawah ngan babah dia,so saya campak topi ni dari tingkat 3 ke bawah,nasib saya pandai campak dan husband pandai tangkap :)

happy with the turnout,it fits Ziyyad head perfectly..fuhh lega

saya kurang jahit barang2 utk Ziyyad,masa sebelum dia lahir,banyak saya jahitkan untuknya,the last piece i sew for him,ialah a memory game.

saya juga ada jahit fabric belt untuk Ziyyad

projek 30 minit aje,seluar ni adalah hands me down,the pinggangnya longgar sikit..saya nak betulkan getah sayang nak bukak seluar tu

jadi decide untuk buat belt aje :)
